OPENING OF NEW ALNESS OFFICE
Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd are delighted to reaffirm their commitment to Easter Ross with the opening of new premises in Alness.
The addition of Averon House, in Teaninich Industrial Estate, will see Pat Munro Homes and subsidiary company Carbon Dynamic Scotland make the transition from their present location within Pat Munro’s head office at Caplich Quarry in the Easter Ross town.  The new property will also still have some spare capacity to accommodate other members of the team should this be required in the future.
This continues the organic growth that Pat Munro has experienced in recent years, together with some strategic additions, most recently the addition of the Major Projects team last year and Carbon Dynamic – the sustainable, off-site building manufacturer – at the end of 2018.

Carbon Dynamic (Scotland) Ltd, the Highland based modular building manufacturer, have now completed their first job since they started trading at the end of 2018.
This job was completed on behalf of our client Mowi (previously known as Marine Harvest) and is located on the Isle of Rum. It included the completion of two buildings. One is a 6 en-suite bedroom staff accommodation, split across 2 storeys, each level with its own kitchen living and dining area along with an attached visitor’s annex. The second building is a three bedroom manager’s house.
Both were manufactured and built in Carbon Dynamic’s base in the Highlands using visual grade Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) before being transported over to Rum and finalised.
The materials for this job were aligned with Carbon Dynamic (Scotland) and Mowi’s values, being sustainably made, with low carbon footprint and environmentally sensitive.

Now 10 months into the business, although we are still finding our feet, we are encouraged by the level of interest and are looking to create more employment opportunities in the not so distant future.”
